主题：A Theoretical Model of the Chinese Labor Market/中国劳动力市场分割理论模型与政策分析

摘要：This paper constructs a theoretical labor market model for China, and utilizes the model to examine the welfare consequences of various labor market policies. Two key features of the model are a segmented labor market involving three sectors – state-owned enterprises, private enterprises, and agriculture - and China’s unique household registration system (hukou). The policy interventions include promoting rural development, reducing the cost-of-living in urban areas for rural hukou holders, and hukou conversion policy. Using two social welfare criteria, it is shown that the rural development policy is unambiguously welfare-improving, while the other two policies have ambiguous effects on social welfare. 

演讲者简介：宋扬，腐漫网 助理教授，人民大学企业与组织研究中心（CFOS）兼职研究员，腐漫网 博士。研究领域包括劳动腐漫网 、发展腐漫网 、中国劳动力市场、收入分配等。2007年毕业于腐漫网 劳动人事学院，获得学士学位，2009年获得美国康奈尔大学公共管理硕士学位，2013年获得美国康奈尔大学腐漫网 博士学位。在国际SSCI期刊China Economic Review、China & World Economy等发表过英文学术论文。担任Journal of Comparative Economics、China Economic Review、Economic Systems等多家SSCI英文期刊匿名审稿人。曾获美国公共管理学会荣誉奖章、美国康奈尔大学全额助教奖学金、腐漫网 优秀毕业生等奖项。
